He is a good player. Ripped us to pieces at their place a couple of seasons ago.

I've not heard whether we're in for him or not.

I posted the rumour about chris weale going to Leicester and he did and i have a few more.

Dormushali Saidhodzha–CSK Sofia–£600,000
Simon Cox–Swindon–Swindon are holding on for £2.5million and if we don't pay this much we will go for David Healy of Sunderland–their asking price is £1.8 million.
Andrew Surman–saints–£1.2 million
Christian Nade–Hearts–£600,000
Ryan Smith–Saints–£500,000
Kelvin Davies–Saints–Free (cover for weale aswell as experience)

Ryan Smith, remind me, did he not come to us from Arsenal for a while? Didn't we make him bad?
 
And Wikipedia says he was released by Southampton - dunno if that's true or not.

he's back and he said the hotel wasn't up to much and the weather was bloody awful..he's never going to clacton in may again

I don't think he failed all that much here if i'm honest. He was working so hard off the field trying to sort the finances out, the on field took a bit of a hit. I think given a little bit more time he would have been a good manager.
