Anyone following the Playoffs. Can't believe ex Leicester Panthers QB Sean Payton is one game away from leading Saints to Superbowl. Reckon Patriots will beat the bottling Colts and win SB again in a potential re-match from 85-86 when Bears trounced Pat's with the Fridge and co.
 
Patriots all day long. Tom Brady is class. I watched them beat the San Diego Chargers last weekend, who were top seeds, and they just grinded out the win and did what they needed to do.
 
Shame the Leicester Panthers vanished. Spent a few entertaining Sundays at Saffron Lane watching them. Remember seeing Payton play also. Not sure whether to book a half day and stay up for the Superbowl. Might do as earlier KO due to it being in Miami.

ITV coverage starts at 10pm so I guess KO around 11. Just booked a half day.

I must say I watched the highlights of this....I take it Brady is the QB, he was superb. When it's highlights, this Yank Football aint half bad but I could not watch a full match with its razma'tazz and constant stoppages.

Yeah Brady is QB for the Patriots. Awesome player. I dont watch much NFL really, but I try to catch as many Patriot games as I can, and of course the Superbowl (2 weeks to go)

used to always play without a goally for the last minute or so if you were losing!!:icon_lol:
 
I've been on the Colts website, but I can't see a mention of a Mr W Perry on there anywhere, did I read wrong?, can't even remember where I read it
 
Payton played for my local CFL (Canadian Football League) team back in the 80's before he went to Leicester.

I support the NY Jets in the NFL, but they lost in the wild-card game against New England. Chicago-New Orleans is a great match up as the Saints have the best offense in the league. Indianapolis and New England have quite a bit of recent history between them. Manning can't win the big game, so I expect New England to win.
