From the southern bypass (A47) take the A146 into the city. At the traffic lights turn right and follow the outer ring road: Left at the roundabout. Right at the next lights. Follow the inner ring road round to the right, over the river and the ground is on your right. If in doubt follow signs for the the railway station until you get to the river (where the rail station is off to the left and ground on your right).

Norfolk County Hall is recommended for away fan parking. This is well sign posted on the left of the A146, as you follow signs towards the ground from the Southern Bypass. Parking is approximately £3

Trains:

The journey is approximately 3 hours and involves a change at Peterborough. A saver return is available at £46.30.

However, if you can specify your train and buy advance singles, it is possible to do this journey for £10 in each direction. Please see example below:

8.14am from Leicester. Arrive Peterborough 9.14am. £5 single
9.46am from Peterborough. Arrive Norwich 11.17am. £5 single

Or

11.14am from Leicester. Arrive Peterborough 12.14am. £5 single
12.39pm from Peterborough. Arrive Norwich 14.13pm. £5 single

Coming back:

17.57pm from Norwich. Arrive Peterborough 19.26pm. £5 single
19.54pm from Peterborough. Arrive Leicester 20.51pm. £5 single

Or

18.57pm from Norwich. Arrive Peterborough 20.25pm. £5 single
20.45pm from Peterborough. Arrive Leicester 21.38pm. £5 single

Failing this, you can still save atleast £15 by buying a CDR from Leicester to Peterborough (£15.90) and a CDR from Peterborough to Norwich (£15.10) - Total £31.00

The station is no more than a 10 minute walk from the ground.

Pubs:

As you leave the train station, if you bare left you will walk into a modern complex, that is full of bars and places to eat. I have not encountered any problems around here as an away fan.
