Directions & Parking:

Approx 30 miles - 45 minutes

A46 north, leave at the A606 and follow through to the Wheatcroft island. Take either your 3rd or 4th exit. The ground is well signposted from either of these exits.

Some street parking around the ground is possible, avoid areas such as The Meadows or Snienton. City Centre car parking is a 20-25 minute walk away.

Alternatively, you could use one of the tram park and ride sites. The easiest is just off of J26 on the M1 (Phoenix Park). The tram will take you to the train station, where the ground is a 15 minute walk away. Tram price per person return £2.70, or for groups including children £5.50 group all day tickets are availabile. More info here.

Trains:

A walk up return is £8.50

Groups of 3 or 4 can travel for the price of 2. Groups of 3 = £5.60 each, Groups of 4 = £4.25 each.

The train journey takes approx 30 minutes (unless your stupid enough to get on the train that stops at Syston, Sileby, Barrow etc). There are atleast 3 direct trains per hour.

Pubs:

Probably safer drinking in town, I've not heard of any specific away pub near to the ground. All of the old ones, are now strictly home fans only.

The usual Wetherspoon, Yates's and alike are plentiful within the city centre.

Anyone reckon the period 3's will have trouble getting tickets?

P1 and P2 don't amount to much more than 2,000. There should be plenty left for P3 therefore - but don't leave it until late on Wednesday!

I'm sure this has been asked before, but.... I have a ST (first year on this cycle) and have never bought tickets for an away game. Do i get P3 or just general sale?

Also, is it one ticket per ST?

You will automatically be P3.

And yes, 1 ticket per STH

I'm not putting £30 into forests coffers they can **** off!

Definitely not on the train :) pretty sure it can be done in two buses.

It definitely can if you use the Leicester airport link, and Nottingham airport link .... but i'm sure it will be cheaper to do arriva (or is it Kinch bus?) to Lboro and then get the number 1 notts south bus. This stops at Trent Bridge :)

It used to be possible to do the journey on an Arriva day ticket for around £4, but they don't go to Nottingham any more.

He can do the train for £4.25 if he'l mingle with a 3 other people there and back.

Bartons buses used to do a direct journey from St Margarets to Trent Bridge.

Anyway buses are for ***** as we agreed last night BM.

I'm not back in the country until the 30th Nov. If anyone with priority is not going, i would very much appreciate your help in getting me a ticket. Missed all the season so far thanks to the Taliban, dont want to miss this one. Thanks fellas. PM please if u can help.
