TBH the performance yesterday comes as no surprise.

A team that has been heavily coached to a pattern, used to being directed every second of the game goes through the events of Tuesday and the sudden loss of the managerial & coaching team (with, if the reports are to be believed half the squad pleased, the other half not). Temporary managerial team who were probably not that familiar with or known by all the new faces tries to pick up the pieces, probably with no1 priority to avoid defeat.

It was on the cards for a poor draw. (though I did predict 1-1 rather than 0-0).

Good post, sums up my thoughts.

Last night was a horrible experience; i was sat in my seat from Plymouth, past half way picked up from Bristol... on came about 6 or 7 forest (drunk) fans. i put my jacket on as they came to my carriage... they sat down asking what i just covered, had no choice but to say Leicester two of the blokes shaked my hands for admitting it. They were having a bit of banter "same old leicester always cheating" etc they were talking to me about City & Forest they seemed like ok guys offering me a beer. Anyway one decided to say "your just a small town in Bhagdad" (sp) then they called me a bommer, as i walked up to leave the carriage and get on another one threw a can at me saying "two of my best friends were killed in Iraq, im going to kill you when you get off this train". Stupid fkn thug. Luckily for me i saw them get off one stop before the New Street.

Two lessons learnt, one move and don't sit in a carriage with drunken people and two don't wear a Leicester shirt on the train :icon_cry:

Back to the game:

Fulop 8- made a point blank save to deny a certain goal. Also, it is about time we had a keeper who can catch a ball or move when we are defending a set piece

N'Gotty 7

McAuley 7

Kisnorbo 8- What a challenge on Ebanks Blake, Argyle would've been one on one if it weren't for that terrific defending tackle

Mattock 4- Too young, no way is he ready for first team football

Hume 6- Didn't look that great on the right.

Sheenan 8- Did a left back and a left winger job very well

Clemence 8.5- Bossed the midfield MOTM, captains performance!!

Weso 6- Tackled well, but wastefull with his passes

DJ 6- Expect a bit more from a £1.6million player

MDV 6- He can pass the ball, took on a few players, shame he can't jump in the air!

Subs:

Levi 6- Looked ok when he came on, took on players but was at times wasteful with the ball

Cort 7- Won a lot of the balls in the air, looked comfortable can't wait to see him play a full 90

had problems with their fans last season on the train, some **** thought punching a 12 year old was acceptable behaviour. saying that his mates were all about half his bloody age as well. did you not report them? transport police tend to be quite strict these days.....

It probably won't make you feel any better, but the twats you had to contend with yesterday were NOT football fans.

They get a kick out of tormenting people who they see as easy targets. They wouldn't have been so brave had you been in a group. Cowards!

As Fitz said, you should have reported it. The British Transport Police are pretty good at dealing with arseholes like this.

Don't let these pricks stop you from travelling alone on the train to football again, and most certainly don't let them stop you from wearing your football shirt.

Fitz & NF are right, you should have pulled the communication cord Jessel or asked a guard for protection, they would have soon got the transport police in to escort the drunken thugs off your train.
I can recall a similar thing happening to a few London Branch members in the early eighties, on the way back from Newcastle.
One of my mates pulled the cord and the Newcastle nutters were met by the police at Durham.

Yes it would have been a good idea to tell the Transport Police. Lucky i wasnt with you on the way back otherwise i would have said something to them, could have got nasty lol.

I do get alot of it on the train as i travel to nearly all away games on my own with my shirt showing. Good lad for walking to another carriage though Jessel:)

Thanks people. I debated telling someone on the train, I only saw one women; I was on first class (it was the cheapest available ticket on the net) the Forest fans didn't even have a ticket and the women said she would let them off this time! Listening to that didn't fill me with much confidence in the staff. Atleast i know for next time to ask one of them to get the transport police who come on at the next station. Stupid thugs :098:

A friend of mine spoke to Milan briefly on Saturday ( he was on the London train to Plymouth ), and although he was naturally cagey he did say that in his opinion he thought of the 190-odd employees of LCFC, about 90% were not happy even after the Watford game, and he felt he had to act, he just wished he had done it on the Sunday. Just thought I'd pass this info on.

Does MM strike you as the kind of bloke who gives a flyer about other people's opinions? Unlikely.
Besides, even if it's true who gives a feck what these 90% think? Who the hell are they? Apart from the players & the man with the money it shouldn't matter who the manager upsets.
Lets appoint a 'nice bloke' then eh? That'll get the job done won't it??!!
Levein & Kelly were nice blokes by all accounts

Rowett is just as big a cnut as Barber, in fact I'd say Rowett is a bigger cnut for arse licking and encouraging the other cnut in the first place.

Cnuts, the ****ing pair of 'em.

Couldn't agree more! :038::038:

PS that's another one to file in my burgeoning Melton for Poet Laureate file.
