The eternal question - it will probably never be satisfactorily answered. Perhaps there is no answer.

For me, I preferred Poole at the time, but Ward had better hair. Poole gets extra points for being quite good despite being 5 foot 8 or something whilst Gavin Ward (m'lord) had (and has) the better song.

I'm going to go for Pooleh.

Also, we played Brighton at their shitty goldstone ground in a cup game, only highlight of the defeat was Poolie tackling their forward just outside their box, running down the left wing and crossing.
