I'd be surprised if we had the financial clout to hijack a deal involving Derby or Wigan. I think cheap imports from Europe and possibly some loans of kids from premiership teams are more likely.

I would have thought that we could compete with Derby as it appears that they have already spent their 1st parachute payment, apparently it was spent even before PJ arrived!!

Hey, that means I'm available too. Despite - in addition to age - a dodgy knee and dodgy moral fibre.

I can contribute to team spirit, for example, showing the likes of Matty Fryatt how to score even more (in casino's, not on the football field) and how to get better quality gear that doesn't affect your performances 48 hours afterwards. I'm also tea-total, so I can influence the younger guys into eliminating alcohol consumption which may be affecting their game. If they go out with me, they will be returning home at about 9.30pm as I show signs of my approaching middle age.

So early nights for the lads. A cleaner, leaner, fitter squad all down to consty.
