I meant that they both seem lazy to me. Apparently I'm wrong though, that's why so many top clubs clamoured for him when he was available and why he excelled at Liverpool.

He excelled at Villa and Palace perhaps Liverpool was the wrong place for him. We have no-one as prolific as he has been in the prem.

If I was a Palace fan I would be seriously pissed off at the appointment of Big Sam.
What a generic appointment, no thought for medium to long term development and an appointment that takes zero account of the types of players at the club.
One size fits all appointment, plus he's a crooked fool who shouldn't be given the opportunity
