I have played FIFA and I say its an improvement, espically the game play which is more realistic. However, it doesnt disguise the facts that the goalies are useless and your goalscoring technique is limited.

Id say the goalies are over good tbh. As for scoring techniques Im not sure Ive replicated the same one twice yet.

I've tried FIFA 2007 now, and it's a real disappointment in my opinion. I actually prefer PES 5, because the bounces and all that are just more realistic. But I think I stick to Football Manager.:icon_wink

EDIT: Forgot to say, I only tried it on my pC, might be different on a Xbox 360 for example.

pro evo is obviously still number one seeing as all the fifa players still post in this thread to desperately try and convince us otherwise :)

Yes major multi nationals such as Game, Come, Currys, Play.Com etc etc etc will all really suffer. Not to mention the supermarkets:icon_roll:icon_roll:icon_roll:icon_roll

I work day to day dealing with multi nationals, independant retailers and undercutters that have another full time job doing it to just to make an extra pound on their outlay.

I see the damage these people do. I've seen so many hard working independants go bankrupt this year as a result of the part time time petes that it is heartbreaking to see them and their families in that position, not to mention the money owed to my company that will have to be written off as a result. All as a result of part time pete who not only happy with going to work all week to earn his money, he also is wants your money as well. He doesn't have to pay rent, taxes, wages and all the overheads a legitimate business owner has to pay

Don't patronise me with your throw away "rebelious" statements, because they mean shit unless you work day to day in the situation and see the damage done

you didnt even read what I said, and then you start going off about independents:018::018::018:

I genuinly dont think people buy games off idependents, and even if they did why? Any quick search on the net will find you it cheaper from 5 diffrent sites. That is the basis competetion, the weakest fall by the way and the strogest survive. Its not fair but its life.

Because the small independants will be the first to suffer

I think you are probably correct in this case, but my gripe isn't trade specific

Only if we all play by the same fair and square rules. Operating out of your bedroom and working a 9-5 in another trade, isn't fair rules and will never make this little individual a decent living. the only thing it wil acheive is to help him buy 3 more bottles of fizzy pops down the youth club of Friday night and put an honest trader in a position of having to lower his prices and not meeting overheads.

I don't see what your problem is with new businesses fella? I actually just PMed you to ask a bit about what you did when starting up your own business.. at the moment I obviously know I'm going to be an ecommerce store and I've found out how I'm going to run an online shop, getting suppliers with decent wholesale prices seems to be a bit of a stumbling block as they all want trade refs, how the hell am I supposed to get trade refs if nobody will trade with me because I have no trade refs..? I think a few phone calls are in order over the next week.. My main concern at the moment is finding out what I need to do with regards to the law, i.e. registering for VAT, tax, self employment etc. Apparently I need to do this within 3 months of business start up, obviously that would be from when I actually start trading. If I can find a supplier with good prices I will probably also open an eBay store.

Just seen your pm and responded before I read this, I hope the pm is useful

ps, what you mentioned in your pm makes you a different issue and you're not included in the group I'm referring to.

Good luck
