Directions & Parking:

Approx 102 miles - 2½ hours.

M1 south to Junction 1 ...

A406 (North Circular Road), left at A40 roundabout (Western Avenue) this road changes to Westway. At the junction with Wood Lane, turn right, the ground is on your next right (South Africa Road).

Parking is not very cheap, approx £5-£7 for 3 hours. You may be best to park at Stanmore and tube it into London.

Trains:

Although it's New Years Day, the trains are running a near complete service. There are cheap singles available between Leicester & London from £9 and £11 from London back to Leicester.

On arriving into London you will need a Zone 1-2 travel card for the underground. If you take the Hammersmith & City line (heading towards Baker Street) from KXSP Underground and get off at Sheperds Bush, you will be approx 10 mins from the ground. The tube journey is approx 20 mins.

Pubs:

There are a wide selection of pubs available. Maybe our very own ale expert + london brancher (Mr Sharapova) could provide us with some information?

the one we went to last year took me a good hour to find from the tube station...its not exactly easy to guess where it is, and no one around there was able to understand my questions regarding directions

totally torn as to whether i go to this, it'll be £100 for two of us on the train, the bird's ticket would only cost £13 so looking at about £140 for it....yet its a long way to go to watch shite

:icon_eek:

It's QPR, not Plymouth!

I thought it was a little strange, but thats what it says. Maybe they want to give the fans some shopping time whilst in London, might make the defeat a little easier to swallow :102:

ugh is it pay on the door?

we going the Andover Arms again? i thought it was good last year

It says 10 on my ticket aswell how can i find out for sure ?

9am was always very early. I would think that it was a mistake. If it's 10am on your ticket as well as the OS, I would say thats when it is. However you could e-mail the ticket office [email protected] if you wish to confirm.
