I definately saw him throw his shirt to the ground and proceed to walk over it away at Brighton.
Wouldn't use the term stamp, just briskly stroll over his shirt.

He certainly threw his toys out of the pram - he was brought on as a sub, and then taken off after about ten minutes. Even if we hadn't had somebody to replace him I'd have taken him off - I'd rather play with ten men than have Smith on the pitch.

Can't argue with that. His attitude had become appalling. I just wonder why he was allowed to wear. My only question would why he was allowed to wear the shirt against Derby a few days later.
