Du Preez only bowled 11 overs today?

Nixon was on Rl this morning saying the pitch would take spin. he said we would need to keep their lead down and then bat well. He also said Banerjee would be the danger on the final day

Well the rain saved us in the end

A bit of a break now with only one pro40 in the next 10 days before we face Middlesex. You'd hope the batsmen will be spending a lot of time in the nets

Dippenaar is becoming one of the worst in a long line of poor overseas signings. Just 29 again today in our great total of 291-5 - although our bowlers are again leaking runs.

Didn't know Du Toit would have a 144 in him in a 40 over match!

could do worse than signing D Cork now he is being released by Lancs

Anyone know why Ackerman hasn't played any of the last 2 Pro40 matches?

official site is useless as ever, hasn't even reported that Tom Smith has gone back to Lancs.

official site is useless as ever, hasn't even reported that Tom Smith has gone back to Lancs.

the only thing in the Merc before the Kent game was that Jacques du Toit and Matt Boyce were staying at the top of the order with Hylton Ackerman missing out once more.

Smith was recalled by Lancs because of their injury problems, he may come back to the county if these improve

Dippenaar dropped for Middlesex game. Greg Smith, Taylor and Cobb all playing. Hopefully the weather will give them all a chance to have a bat.

285-6 today, honours pretty even after 2 late wickets from Kruger.

according to the reports the pitch is pretty docile and perfect for batting hopefully weather permitting the youngsters will get a bat be a good experience at Lords

107 all out. really disappointing but I guess that's what you get when you field so many youngsters - on-off performances.

At least we're fighting back 101-4. A few more wicketsand the inspectors will be out

125/7 now Henderson and Malik have put on a few. Boyce hasn't batted yet in 2nd innings, presumably injured.

It's a lot of pressure on the kids but we may as well stick with them until the end of the season now. Dippenaar and Du Toit weren't doing any better!
