The Alltime Greatest Sega Game

Thought it would be interesting to start a thread to determine the greatest ever game on a Sega console.

This MUST be a cartridge game, so no Mega-CD or Dreamcast.

Please submit your top 5. Entrys with the most votes will go into a battle royal to determine the winner !

Sonic and Toe Jam & Earl were legendary in my youth.

I must be one of the few people who preferred Toe Jam & Earl 2 though.

Italia 90 was amazing!

Favourite footie game on the megadrive was the original FIFA International Soccer.

They used to give all the players fake name, I used to know all of the fake England's squad: Mick Channon was the goalkeeper I think, there was a Wilson up front and the star striker was Mc something or other.

But the best but about it was you could run away from the ref when he was about to book you.

Oh, and Toe Jam & Earl 2 was "Painc of Funkotron" not "Ready, Aim, Tomatoes" which was a separate game that just happened to feature TJ & Earl. Still great though.

1. Sensible Soccer
2. Road Rash (RR II was my favourite)
3. Sonic The Hedgehog (Sonic II being my fave)
4. Lemmings
5. Lotus Turbo Challenge

Wasnt there a striker called Webber ?

I think that might have been a different Fifa though, because he also played for Man Utd.
