Agreed - we massively need some new players in. To my mind that starting XI would do well to finish above 16-18th, so with a couple of injuries or if Fryatt doesn't deliver it could be a very long, hard season.

I don't agree. The disorgasnized demoralised useless set of players that Martin Allen put together never became a team and yet they nearly stayed up. The present group of players is far better than the one that began the 2008-2009 season and I have no doubt that Nigel will get them playing as a team. I think the present squad would be mid-table.
I think that we are a couple of quality players away from the play-offs.

Most people take it for granted that our centrebacks will be Hobbs and Tunchev. I doubt if Brown and Morrison would agree. We are so strong at centre-back I wonder Nigel might consider playing Tunchev as a defensive mid-fielder.

Do you think Luke O'Neill is ready to step up? Pearson obviously rates him, as he was one of the first players he gave a contract to. And unlike many of the academy lads, he got a three year contract, so he must be in Nige's plans.

But yes, where is Kerrea Gilbert? I was expecting us to sign him to be honest, as he'd be cheap and would likely want to sign.
