Steve Stone is exactly the sort of player that MA would have signed.

No longer good enough for a struggling Prem side - it would be "Welcome to your pension supplement at the Walkers rest home."

Please lets hope we have moved forward from this sort of thing.

Sorry to be back on the topic, but Stone is probably a worse signing than keeping Gillespie IMO, he is older, lacks pace, can't take anyone on.
