Subs

The issues of subs is becoming harder and harder, week after week. TBH, it's bloody hard to concentrate on your own game and then think the next sub and the next sub. Of late, I have probably been far too hasty - favouring myself at times. Obivously my decisions are not helping us because we are still fecking winless in practice this season.

So I provide a poll with a number of options of the way we can go. Sorry if you are unhappy that the poll is 'public' - it just means we can discount non-TBFC votes.

It would work a lot better in my opinion if people just changed as and when they felt the need to come off if it is going well. If it is going badly then you make the changes hazz, or the second best option is for the keeper to take charge, he can usually see better from his position what is and what isn’t working.

If we are winning 5-3 for example at HT and we are playing well or certain players are playing well. We would change it when someone wants to come off or an enforced changed.

I'm not so sure why anybody wouldn't do enforced changes. ie one substitution every 3 mins or two every 5.

It's also fair because you all get the same time on/off the pitch. You also pay the same amount to turn up and play. If one person plays 30 mins and another only plays 20, is that fair?

this isn't a dig at the way you do things hazz, just my point of view.

i agree with nathan to a certain extent but if someone is playing a blinder it would be stupid to take them of after 5 minutes or so.

We shall use the option of no.2 this evening. If it's a lot of shit for us...we can always change. Fighting for pride the rest of this season.

Kind of - we forgot to tell the ref but then sussed that they had told the ref - so used them opportunites. Matt came off earlier than expected so at one point we could only make one sub. Second half - we did it a bit willy nilly but sensible.
