No. No, no, no, no, no, no, no. No. When one bends a rule, one breaks a rule. Contrary to amazingly popular belief, rules are not there to be broken. Rules are there to be steadfastly adhered to. FIFA should reprimand the FA for even considering this.

Unless I misread the article it sounds like FIFA are in full support. It's no suprise really, good ole England lad, Big 'Arry wants him so let's make it happen.

I can't see anyone saying they support him, fully or otherwise - other than the PFA, which would be expected - and even they seem guarded. All the Premier league have said is

"Any appeal would be considered by the Premier League Board in respect of Fifa's transfer rules."

which is simply stating the obvious - any system of rules of this sort affecting employment must include the right to appeal and have that appeal considered. So what other answer would they give if asked what would their attitude be to an appeal.

I'm as cynical about the football authorities as anyone, but I can wait until they bend the rules before slagging them off.

Probably do a "Leicester" on Notts. Let Notts get away with it and then stop everyone else

Let Notts get away with what?

Unfortunately, it appeared his cards were marked from the start of the season.

A bit of money, a few high profile buys and a club get's all above it's station.
Deserve all the crap they get from here on in!

Go on yer buggers, get PT in...... be a complete laughing stock.

Just four more games left in the Swedish season.

A completely joke decision considering he worked his socks off for two seasons in keeping them up. All they need is a bit of good form as well to be top!

And if not Taylor, then Platt seems next choice.

And you have wonder if there's really going to be much, if any money. Owners seem to be a right bunch of shysters who know nothing about football but plenty about dodgy deals. Saw the supporters group as a soft touch, got them to hand over the club for nothing in return for vague promises about future investment. I'd be betting no money has gone in - just a few loans - and it's all going to unravel badly.

Is there any team Eriksson wouldn't consider if the money was right. North Korea? Geez, the guy might as well become a dictator!

Sven must be the richest failure in football. Big pay offs from England, Man City (ok a bit harsh to call him a failure there) and Mexico. How does he keep getting jobs!
