To be fair, the universal national swing will not give any kind of accurate prediction on such a massive change. It will become very random on elction night if this holds up. Whoever gets in will have to reform the system sharpish though.

3.5 % was for 2011, 2010 between 1 & 1.5% I believe. Bearing in mind the first quarter's figures were eventually revised upwards I don't think his estimate is wildly optomistic.

I've not got a lot of time for Brown but hearing him announce this on the radio I thought he was very dignified about it.
