1. No
2. Seems unlikely, our board will just give away a free pineapple/beer/novelty dildo to keep the price the same.
3. In what way? Potentially 1 extra game in the North?

Oh yeah, bloody loved spending 10 years middling around between mid table, relegation and a trip to League 1 last time...

Nothing good from this.

Football is about winning and competing at the highest level possible.

I won't miss the PL in terms of the money and the overblown nonsense of it all.

It isn't more affordable. The prices are the same whichever league we're in.

Most of the contracts we're stuck with don't include reduced terms following relegation. The money will be even more disgusting at that level for the quality on show.

You are all lusting over something that is fickle and broken. The game is financially corrupt, morally corrupt and a mess. Take a step back and brush it off because they really don't give a shit about you.

The championship is still in the broken system. It's just a bit more shit and our fans will still be paying stupid ticket prices to pay Ryan Bertrand a few million a year.

It's no different in the Championship.

If that's your reason, give up on football altogether, not just us being in the Premier League.

1 is bollocks. We had years of it last time & nobody enjoyed any of it until the day we won the ****ing thing in 2014 & ****ed off out of it.

2 won't happen. There'll just be more chance of getting hold of a hideously overpriced season ticket after thousands of them get cancelled in 3 weeks time. I'm already drafting my profanity riddled reply to the email they'll be sending me begging me to buy one after studiously ignoring my existence for the last decade.

3 Nothing is any more. Football hasn't been the " working man's game " since the 90s when it was a fiver to get into a game & you could decide on the day whether to go or not & pay on the gate. The EPL achieved it's goal of turning football into a middle class showbiz experience.

Same goes for live music, the £5 pint & other working class staples.

& this time next year I won't even be able to get a ****ing bet on, as I have perfectly safely for over 40 years, without having to let a ****ing bookmaker access my financial history if I lose in a month what I've regularly lost in a day throughout my lifetime.Just in case my mental health might be at risk (it is...because of having the main source of my year round entertainment & a very nice secondary income taken away at a stroke for no reason whatsoever)

Working class life ? That'll be Netflix & a crate of Aldi lager from now on mate. Wrapped in a blanket to save on the heating. Enjoy your weekend

There's always a way to watch. I've seen feeds to all the games this season

The EFL has a system called ifollow that streams all league games that aren't on TV.
If you're in the UK you can't use it to watch Saturday 3PM games, but you can if you're anywhere else in the world.

In the UK it costs £10ish a match. Overseas you can get a season pass for something like £140.

After next season there will be a change as Sky will be television a lot more EFL games and will be taking over the streaming operation.

Is there a reason Sky are doing more EFL games ? I haven't kept up with the TV deals. Are they losing a load of PL stuff to BT ?

Don't know why they're doing it.
The new contract was announced a few days ago.

10 ****ing quid to watch a shit match when you can get sky for £20 a month. We're definitely back in the working man's world.

Cool. Last time we were in L1 the coverage was almost non existent. It'll be much better this time.

I met a bloke the other day who pays the full £35 rate for NOW. They walk among us.
