The iPhone Apps recommendation thread

For all us fancy bastards who have either an iPhone or iPod Touch, i thought a thread should be started to recommend what apps to download

I would recommend weatherbug-quality weather app which is a lot more detailed then the standard one which apple give you

Sky Sports News app is great as is the ECB cricket app.

In terms of games, Flight Control is probably the most addictive.

If you're a regular train user the National Rail app is great but a bit expensive at £6 when it used to be free!!

I noticed a handy one called 'Fuel Prices'...£4.99 but it seemed ideal if you travel a bit.

Sky Sports news is good, so is The Sky Sports Score Centre.

mBox mail for Hotmail users

iOSMaps for walkers

I have Flight Control and agree. Airport mania is addictive too.

X2 Football, Bejewelled 2, I Dig It and Civilization Revolution are good time wasters (but not free).

And don't forget facebook!

£9.99 for an app that shows you live F1 lap times during practicing, qulaifying and races.

Saw that too. Although those that have bought it are very happy with it.

Dearest app has to be the Tom Tom one for £69.99!!

Oh my god yes, top score 325!

Also scrabble, and Ocado shopping link, pub quiz is also good, tv guide is also useful, i also know you can get sky + and record from anywhere in the uk.

Oh and space invaders is good too.

The poker 1 is good, it lets you sync to your facebook account too so you can use yours chips from there. Also like the sky sports app. Ebay is good if you use the site.

Echofon is the best of Twitter applications IMO.

guy here has some snail mail racing track one which is good, and draw race is also addictive.

The games on the iPhone are the only let down I have with my android to be honest, apps wise they are on a par, but so far the games ain't great.
