The Run in, is top 6 totally out of reach?

We will have 4 games interspersed with 3 days rest between each game however, looking at the fixtures and our uptrend in form there is no reason why we should not be able to pick up a lot of points running to the end of the season. I think the likes of Burnley will be praying we can beat those teams around them, the question for us is how high can we finish and will it effect the sale and purchasing of players in the pre season?

We've got a much easier run than in the last two seasons - on current form I'd only have Spurs as the favourites against us in these. Sixth is still a hell of a reach though, looking at points per game of the teams above us, we'd probably need to win seven out of the nine matches.

We can only get to 6th if West Ham, Manchester United and Wolves all fail badly over there remaining games.

It's not even a consideration is it.

I can personally guarantee that we will not finish in the top six this season. We'd need approx. 20 points from 9 games and for all three teams immediately above us to deteriorate together.

I can't see either of those scenarios happening and certainly not both.

We're currently 9th and I'd back us to finish the season 9th. We might get one place higher if fortunes change a bit and we might slip a couple of places if we get further in the ECL.

Bookies reckon we're 35/1 to finish top 6 and I think those odds are mad.

What happens to the Europa League qualification if we win the Conference League.

Obviously we'll get in but would that mean 6th place in the league would lose the Europa League place?

Man Utd finish 6th and end up in the Conference League due to us winning it would be much lolz.

The Europa League winner’s slot in the Champions League is an additional one, if the winner hasn’t qualified via their league position. Same process here I believe.

I love that you edited Ted’s quote of your post but not the original, so we can all still see what you did
Like Boris, it’s not just that you got it wrong to start with, you tried to cover your tracks Boc.

When will the Minister for Canals and Barges resign?!
