My cousin and her new husband have got some lovely friends (though I couldn't work out who the bridesmaids were, or even if there had been any). But I left well before 1, there were far too many people I knew there for my liking.

Yeah, I know. I was feeding Maniac Jr, and I had to clean up after as well. She got her table manners from watching nature documentaries. Living room looked like a family of epileptic chimps had had a picnic in it.

If it's any consolation, it won't get better when she's in her teens. Only difference will be that the bath room will be constantly occupied.
