It says something about how accessible Twenty20 is though that local radio stations can actually put out a whole match live. It's got its flaws but has definitely got a place in the game.

Another wicket. This Walker looks like a good signing.

They are so good at defending totals.

Listenig to this makes you realise how slow the online scorecards are.

The question is, is it better for us to keep Lewis in, and keep bowling maidens for the runrate?! I don't know what the formula is.

Just been looking at that!

If a team is all out in less than 20 overs, the run rate is calculated as though the whole 20 overs had been bowled, so better to get them all out as quickly as possible.

Cheers - that does sound familiar.

Another solid win. They're not scoring a massive amount of runs but they have very clever 20/20 bowling and fielding. :038:

Yorkshire vs Leics is a hugggggeeee game tomorrow. If we lose we'll probably be battling it out as a best third place. A win would mean we're all but in the quarter finals.

Good perfomance in the field today, still think we could score a few more runs though. Snape and Sadler are doing well and HD is starting to score runs now hes been moved to opener. We need a bit more from Mongia though. Considering hes played so many ODIs you would expect more from him.

Don't know, nothing on the official site. Perhaps it's tactical because he hasn't done much with bat or ball so far. 106-3 off 14. I think we are wasting Snape and Sadler by putting in Harrison before them in the order, but I suppose they have done well in the last few overs so far so why change it?

155-8. Par score again, definitely defendable. Mongia got cracked on the ribs yesterday apparently.

We won by 21 runs.

England A are takin the piss against Pakistan.

Not sure why they didn't enforce the follow-on. Hope Broady bowls them out tomorrow. With Hoggard injured there might be another fast bowling vacancy....

With Notts losing to Lancs yesterday, (A fit Freddie Flintoff firing them to victory) we are now top and in pole position to win the group. :038: If we beat Durham on tuesday at the riverside then we go through as winners of the group. This would mean a home quarter final.

Looks like Derby v Yorkshire is going to be a no result and therefore confirm our place in the top 2.
