Hopefully it's a loan that will become permanent in January without any way for Hull to back out of it if he turns out to be crap. They might have had to structure it that way if it was too late to sort out a permanent transfer today.

I'm kind of glad it's a loan, especially with Pearson.

Gives him a chance to regain some form, and then he might come back here and do well for us... or at least get us a bigger fee for him. Sven made it clear that he didn't want to lose Waghorn, but he'd asked to go... so we're in a good position if he does do well and they want to sign him permanently.

I don't think Crncic will be replaced as he has never seemed to be an option so if you are correct in your assumption, which I hope you are, we should unveil another striker tomorrow.

But the answer to the general question is "No" - no recalls are allowed during Standard Loans in the first half of the season.
