And intimating that it doesn't help England that we bought players and Waghorn has to go on loan to get games. Yes Martin, we only have Beckford, Nugent, Vassell (all English) and Steve Howard (allegedly Scottish). Really stifling English talent there...

His development would certainly improve playing in our reserves. Keown is a complete ****ing mug, those who kiss the arse of Arsene Wenger are hardly in a position to complain about the non-selection of an English player.

Good point but Coppell, Bruce and Hughes have mixed records, Keane and Ince have had about one good season each, and Robson is a joke.
