Are other clubs really scouting the relegation zone of the chamionship looking for £3000000 keepers? I think not. We know he is good, but I am not convinced that others will have looked very hard.

I suspect that Fulop will be with Sunderland for the rest of the season, and we could buy him at a better price in the summer when the Spurs keeper goes back. We may seem at the Walkers again yet.

Ive heard a rumour the only thing that actually stopped the deal going through in the end was an injury to their second choice keeper and that the deal is still on once he has recovered.

Thanks DF - I was interested to find out how concrete it was as I'd just been texted to say that someone on TB had claimed it was a done deal. There was no way I was ploughing through post upon post of people arguing whether or not it was Stearman or whether we are allowed to be happy or not just to find out if it was true. Cheers
