The majority of which was played at a lower level don't forget. He's also less experienced, weaker, and er... more expensive..? How much did Blackburn pay for Yak out of interest....?

I hope Beckford starts to show more of what he is capable of but at the moment he needs to buck up, put some effort in, concentrate a lot better. I think a spell on the sidelines is the best way to get that from him.

And Yak's stats are mainly Prem ones but we're not in that league either. Beckford's goal ratio to mins played for Everton was excellent too.

I rate the Yak and actually wanted him to be player of the year last season. As I rate good goalscorers, I appreciate Beckford too. If the fans let him, he'll turn out to be one for us. The idiots that are currently hammering him, like cheering him off this afternoon, will be the main reason this doesn't happen.

Despite our disagreement about him, I am with you on that BN. Sadly we have always had 'supporters' who are happy to jeer certain people in the Royal Blue instead of getting behind them.

Beckford may well appear lazy and uninterested but that will never change if the crowd don't try and actually encourage and support.
