What, IYHO (In your honest opinion) is the best double on an album? By double, I mean two tracks in a row.
I think the best double is off Bristish Sea Power's epic album, "The Decline of British Sea Power", and starts at track 8, ends with track 9 (obviously).
'Carrion' is a modern classic and 'Blackout' is just one of the finest tracks ever created. I truly believe this to be the best double ever.
Other contenders IMHO are as follows:
The Stone Roses, The Stone Roses - This Is The One, I Am The Resurrection.
Artic Monkeys, Whatever People Say I Am, That's What I'm Not - Fake Tales Of San Francisco, Dancing Shoes.
Radiohead, The Bends - High And Dry, Fake Plastic Trees.
Remember, this is merely a vehicle for discussion. Tracks must run sequentially and it's just two tracks. The rest of the album should bear no affect on your choice.
A bien tot.
