What, IYHO (In your honest opinion) is the best double on an album? By double, I mean two tracks in a row.

I think the best double is off Bristish Sea Power's epic album, "The Decline of British Sea Power", and starts at track 8, ends with track 9 (obviously).

'Carrion' is a modern classic and 'Blackout' is just one of the finest tracks ever created. I truly believe this to be the best double ever.

Other contenders IMHO are as follows:

The Stone Roses, The Stone Roses - This Is The One, I Am The Resurrection.

Artic Monkeys, Whatever People Say I Am, That's What I'm Not - Fake Tales Of San Francisco, Dancing Shoes.

Radiohead, The Bends - High And Dry, Fake Plastic Trees.

Remember, this is merely a vehicle for discussion. Tracks must run sequentially and it's just two tracks. The rest of the album should bear no affect on your choice.

A bien tot.

Melton, I don't disagree with you much but I don't think Metallica are very good. In fact, I think they are a tad weak.

Fecking idiot. Metallica are the pioneers and leading Heavy Metal band on the planet.

They have been together for 26 years.

They have released in excess of 20 albums, at least 10 of them being top sellers.

They have had number one singles all over the world

They have sold out at most of the biggest venues in the world over and over again.

I choose Metallica and you choose Britsh Sea Power and then come at me with this debate, bloody ridiculous Joe Fox, bloody ridiculous. "A tad Weak"!!!!!

Metallica are a bunch of egotistic bell-ends. Mega rich but still moan when a poor Somalian farmer doesn't cough up his annual earnings to pay for an over-rated record.

Iron Maiden piss on Metallica.

Agreed, they have climbed up their own arses since the "Metallica" album in '91

Quite..

''I don't care ,I don't care,I don't care if he comes round here,I've got my beer in the sideboard here, let Mam sort him out if he comes round here..''

Deep poignant stuff...You can keep your Baltic Monkeys and your Fruitellas
