Can we read anything into that first half performance?

We were garbage and could easily be 2-0 down.

Shakespeare out.

Piss poor again. We're presumably playing this line up with a view to the Arsenal game. He's just chucked them out with no clue whatsoever. Over the 4-5 games I've seen, I can discern absolutely nothing new about us tactically. We've played exactly the same formation every time and not even attempted anything remotely different from set pieces or moving our forwards players about.

If it's only about fitness, well Wolves look much fitter and better tactically. Our only forward threat throughout pre-season is the player that probably won't be here after the end of August.

I think we're going to start the season shite and then deteriorate.

Didn't you watch last night's game? He was toying with the very interesting tactic of playing three defensive midfielders against a league 1 side.

Feck me, we look absolutely feckin woeful

No wonder Mahrez can't wait to get the feck out

If we can't even open these up we are truly ****ed.

With FIFA trying to be more accommodating in this increasingly Pc world and mixed football at the highest level not far away Leicester Ladies might have a couple that might fancy a go.

I highlighted our pathetic threat levels through the centre about 8 months ago. It seems we are just going to pretend its not a problem and continue on with the same formation and same ineffective personnel.

Shakey doing literally nothing to make me think he's upto the job of getting us onto the next level.

442 full of duffers.

Yet more proof that we absolutely should not let Mahrez leave for a pittance. Having a player like him could well be the difference between staying up and going down. You can't really judge too much off preseason but I don't think Shakespeare was the right appointment and am still to be persuaded otherwise...

Speaking to a Derby fan at work the other day I suggested Wolves could be dark horses for automatic promotion this year and on today's performance they look capable.

I agree about not letting Riyad go for a pittance, but not knowing if he's staying or going, in my opinion, is more of a hindrance to the team itself.
He might say he's happy to stay, but if someone comes in with the money at the 11th hour, he'll be off and our preseason would be pretty much wasted.
