Not a fan of Kasabian's but I think The Kooks album is good. They were really good live as well.
kooks are good live but that album just bored me to tears after about the 2nd listen

The bottom 6 albums I've bought/heard in 06 so far
1. Thom Yorke - The Eraser (disappointingly conservative)
2. The Feeling - Twelve Stops And Home (made me want to chew my hands off)
3. DJ Shadow - The Outsider (please go back to basics Josh)
4. Snow Patrol - Eyes Open (dirgey yawnathon)
5. Keane - Under The Iron Sea (I didn't want to listen to it and never ever want to again)
6. Artic Monkeys - Whatever People Say I Am, That's What I'm Not (purely because it's spawned so many sound/look-a-likes)
The two worst albums I have bought this year are both from that list.
1. Snow Patrol - Eyes Open (So disappointing after I loved their previous album)
2. Keane - Under The Iron Sea ( I didn't really like their first album but the first single released from this one I loved, 'Is It Any Wonder'
That pursuaded me to buy the album, which is absolute shite.
DJ Shadow - The outsider
stadium arcadium it has to be, i used to be a chili peppers fan, that album has put me right off them.
What do you know?, bloody homoit is nowhere near as good as their older stuff I agree, but it doesn't deserve to be the worst album of the year IMO
Without a shadow, Razorlight. Unimaginative, music by numbers, AOR.
