They are better than us. They beat us.
However, we are naive and a little clueless.
Can I start a Shakespeare out thread?
Same old same old.
Smashing lads, double the efforts.
We have some winnable ones on paper coming up. Season starts now against Huddersfield.
We have lost narrowly to 3 of the top 6 sides, we are lacking a cutting edge and a bit of craft.
Familiar tale. Admirable effort, ultimately came up short against the top sides.
It's fairly easy to draw the conclusion that Shakespeare did brilliantly and saved us from relegation last season but that the owners should have taken a harder view when it came to making a longer term appointment. Looks like Shakey also brought in an assistant in his own image.
Unfortunately, its a lot more difficult when it comes to identifying a successor. Ranieri was sussed by our competitors; Shakey is sussed and the key players want out.
Could have drawn against champions who have gone on and spent £150m on adding 4 italy spain and france internationals: Rudiger, Morata, Zappacosta and Bakayoko before nicking one of our champions for another £35m.
We need to decide how to use Iheanacho, Gray, Silva and Dragovic and give Huddsersfield a going over.
We could loan Silva to Huddersfield.
Kante shouldn't have scored. They should have had a penalty.
Under the circumstances (they were better than us) we did OK but we got we deserved. I think CS is trying to mix it up, but he's not blessed with options. We move on.
We need something out of next week though.
Yep. I don't know which of the games against Arsenal, Manchester United and Chelsea we should have won. Like I say, some supporters have been ruined by success.
Where is Dragovic?
Another new signing making no impact on arrival.
Excellent assessment. Options are limited because of terrible signings under a previous manager and incompetence from the club on deadline day.
Or e could ask if Beneitez wants a job.
That's easy. We were 3-2 up against Arsenal with 8 minutes to go.
We chucked one in today.
We don't know. That's why we shouldn't perhaps jump to conclusions.
For the one that hit Maguire on the arm?
Not deliberate. No penalty.
He was pointing to a team mate, and the ball was headed at his arm from point blank range. He didn't have his arm there to block the ball.
Isn't every thread that already?
I think we all knew that the likelihood was that we would lose these games. Expecting anything else was a little misguided.
It's obvious isn't it?
In the one training session he's had so far, he complained about the food, took a shit in Shakespeare's car, then spent the rest of the day at East Midlands Airport waiting for his dream move.
