edit - just waiting for the FT to take the credit for this, even though they thought the club couldn't multi task and didn't want to bother them with it during this takeover period

I don't think they would dare. They must be aware that fans have been making their own feelings known without their help.

We had raised it with the club as we stated originally, just not raised it with the Chairman.

Subsequently we found a new route to tackle this particular issue & utlilsed it effectively. So that's one critical press release now scrapped
What did you say Boc :102: :icon_lol:

I apologise for my incorrect assertion yesterday. The FT is clearly too full of its own importance.

Fact is you sat on your fat arses and did precisely feck all - and it was left to the real fans representatives (i.e. the fans themselves) to do the job that you should have been doing all along

Pitiful

I was at a meeting at the club the day after Teamcard was launched, and the FT member there wasn't even aware of what was happening, to be fair.

Homer - you have hit the nail on the head!

I think that increasingly people are getting p-ssed off by the FT purporting that it represents the fans. It categorically does not! It represents the FT and its few hundred adherents.

You have put it right- the fans represent themselves - if there is mass dissatisfaction whether it's a dodgy bit of commercial scammary or we've got fed up with the manager (hypothetically of course!) - the club soon takes notice.

How could he not have been aware? The thing has been talked and written about for the club for ages and has been much delayed.

So much for a well-briefed FT.
