On the same subject, the Local Hero is rubbish nowadays , no atmosphere. The 1884 is overcrowded and difficult to get served. Where is the best pub nowadays. I travel in from Nott'm so get in quite early with all my tribe and need somewhere to park our arses for a couple of hours and get some food on some occassions.

My ''student'' Dad has often suggested Soar Point pre and post but I tell him it would be a bit awkward. Standing/sitting with a grey haired bloke in there.

It shouldn't be any more crowded in there as they already operate a one in one out system when it's full.
However, the queues will be ridiculous to get in and the away fans will be going in there too.

i agree melts allthough i dont think away fans will get in there.
if the queues are long i will just go in the ground and get a beer,theres usually a game on so it wouldnt be the end of the world.
