Does Holloway keep his cards better hidden than our previous spate of managers, or have things quietened down on the transfer front?
We signed six players within the first few days of the month and remarks such as , "There's more to come..." filled the media. Over the last couple of days, even the bullplop rumours have dried up and we are reduced to a long thread based upon a tenuous link to Commons.
Does anybody have any feeling as to what is or isn't happening?

I think the silence is suggestive of the fact that we won't have many more heading our way. Perhaps a sneaky loan signing or a grab for Norris on the last day, but not much else.

Asked this morning on radio 5 if there would be any more comings and goings in the last few days of the window, he brushed it aside with "you know I can't talk about that". When the reporter persisted he said "Look, if I tell you then I'll have to kill you. And we wouldn't wan that, would we? You're a very nice man."

Good for a chuckle, but we are none the wiser.
