Standards of grammar are clearly higher in Nottingham because I thought the letter was fine and the criticism of Ollie's secretary rather harsh. I do think it is genuine and cannot think why anyone would think it a lack of judgement by Ollie.

I think it demonstrated a lack of judgement, it was a stupid action. He should have simply thrown the whining twat's letter in the bin and been done with it. If he was determined to reply then an anodyne letter would have been more befitting.

IF it's genuine, then it displays Ollie's honesty.

He didn't consult with solicitors, ghost writers, advisors etc. He got off his arse and made a decision off hs own back and acted in the way he felt appropriate to his nature. He isn't a genius, he probably isn't an academic, he's just human.

He may have made a misjudgement, and dealt with it wrongly, but I'm more concerned by the amount of games he's lost than his letter writing abilities.

More proof that Ollie is being judged on his off the field exploits.
