For me this is just another attempt to force atmosphere.

Imo the only people that can generate atmosphere are those on the pitch in blue and the fans.

I voted no. These feckers will no doubt be near me. The atmosphere is decent enough in this area of the stadium. The singing was spolit in the last home game because some fecker was constantly blowing a horn......it wasn't Bernie was it. :icon_conf

I would not object to a band playing before a match as light entertainment for those unlike me who get out the pub early enough to be entertained, but I do object to a bleeding drum being beaten during a game, it drives you nuts Sheffield Wedneday is a prime example.

PS :Keep on posting Homer you were sorely missed.

Listening to the Sheffield Wednesday band and the England band on TV pisses me off.

IMO having a band will only make the atmosphere worse.

Great idea.

As someone who has been to matches abroad where bands / drums are common they do wonders for the atmosphere, starting songs which can be taken on by the fans as a whole.

England fans have voted before that the band is a great addition.
