Academy Fall To Bristol
Leicester City's under 18 side went down 3-2 at the hands of Bristol City on Saturday.
The Foxes went into the game top of the Academy table - with five wins from their opening eight fixtures.
But City would go down to a strong Bristol side which contained the maximum number of overage players.
The Robins scored twice early on, but Andy King managed to get a goal back for the visitors ahead of the break.
Matt Goodwin then made it 2-2 after the restart, and the game looked to be heading fro a draw before Bristol grabbed the winner form the penalty spot with just two minutes of the game remaining.
Speaking after the contest, Academy director Jon Rudkin said: "It was a scrappy game. Both of their early goals came from set pieces, which was again disappointing for us.
"Bristol had a physical advantage over us, and you would expect that because they were using their full quota of overage players.
"At 2-2 it looked as though the game was going to be a draw. But we conceded a late penalty and that was again disappointing."
