As it looks as though MA is going to Coventry, which of his signings will he take off our hands (please  ). My money is on Dublin as player/coach.

If he had any morals he would take Makin, Gemmill, Morris, Dublin, Nalis, Blake, Wilcox, Gudjonsson and Pressman

:D That would be his full team then looking at the disciplinary record under him

~Why has everyone turned against Nalis? So he's hit a bit of bad form, so what, every player does that now and then.

Nalis was playing very well earlier in the season and has scored a few goals.

Why slag Nalis?

Agreed. The one player we have that has some passing ability but for some reason the fans would rather we had a boss-eyed brick shit house in the squad than someone who can actually play.

I also agree - the short term attitude of fans now is amazing! "He's had a bad game - sell him!" Presumably a result of our short term signing policy of late.

Which was down to Mr Adams... I hope he does... OK-ish at Cov... whilst still taking them down!

We all see different things when we watch a football game

You see a creative midfielder who passes the ball well and can play

I see an incompetent headless chicken running round the pitch in a place where he is hopelessly out of his depth, where his positional sense is appalling, where he is unable to make a tackle, and where two or three goals have kept him in the team rather than any form of ability

Midfield has been a nightmare all season - and Nalis is a key part of that nightmare

Whilst Nalis is not the centre of all our problems (the midfield is a real problem), he has not shone as brightly in this League as I had originally hoped. :( :?

And he's still one of our top scorers this season... which demonstrates how shit we have been.

But now Williams is finally looking like a footballer, Nalis's days as first choice are numbered. Not a reason to get rid though, as he proved he could do it earlier in the season.

My point isn't that he is a great player, but he can pass the ball more than 10 yards which is a bonus in a team where the majority can't pass it 10cm. He can't tackle that well and needs a ball winner next to him, but he's been one of the better players this season and I see no reason to sell him or list him with the other players seen above.

and i'd keep gudjonnson for some reason as well, probably cause he is improving slowly and he's the right age. not sure if he is actually that great mind.

Spot on Homer, I personally think Nalis has been quite poor all season, I just don't think he's good enough, his passing has been woeful at times. I thought the drop down in divisions would allow him to shine, but unfortunately it hasn't been the case. The only game I can remember where his passing has really shone, was the Barcelona friendly. I still feel Gudjonnson and Williams is the way forward.

i bet adams is wishing he left city for southampton when he had the chance now, but instead he has to try and rejeuvenate a struggling championship side that is worse than the one that he was sacked by.

i dont really think any leicester fan should be wishing cov all the best whether its MON as manager. maybe people are forgetting they are possibly our biggest derby. i cant imagine them wishing us all the best if we had reid.
as far as im concerned adams left, congrats he did the right thing. but if he's gone to cov thats his problem. cov for relegation

Not slagging Lills, but he'll be retiring at the end of the season anyway and CL is looking to build for the future of the club.

Take Williams out of the equation and our central midfielders are much of a muchness.Joey,Nalis,Gemmill??? none of them seem the answer.I'd like to see Tiatto in the middle or even Dawson.Maybe Kisnorbo will prove to be the solution.I would have Nalis as a Sub because at least he can score goals.I suppose Gudjonnson is the best of 3 but i'm unconvinced by him, cracking goal on Wednesday though.

It's a sad reflection on our current position that we are giving any kind of credence or respect to Nalis, Gemmill or Gudjonsson. We are becoming used to settling for total mediocrity.

They are all complete and utter shite, and I wouldn't be sorry to see all three leave in a taxi tomorrow morning and never come back.

And they can take Makin with them as well.

Wanker

Whilst I quite agree that Nalis is not the greatest of central midfielder's, I do think that he is by no means the worst we have got.

I would rate them 1. Williams 2. Nallis 3. Gemmill 4. Gudjonsson. I can't comment on Dawson as I have not seen enough of him.

As for those who think someone who has absolutely shocking control and distribution skills (Gudjonsson) is our best, god help them.
