hope this is bullshit because Tunchev was miles ahead in class than anything we have had in defence for many a year

5mins ahead of everyone else in thought and action sniffs out trouble quickly and dealt with it with comparative ease as a seasoned international should

I think this move makes sense, it is obvious that NP has an embarrasment of riches at centre half and it will be impossible to guarentee Tunchev first team football when Brown and Hobbs are playing so well, also he is one of our more saleable assets, like Mattock, that won't have too much of a detrimental effect on our current starting XI. The sale of Tunchev would generate much needed funds that can be redistributed in areas that are in more need of strengthening.

As for the Fryatt move to Newcastle, think it is a pi55 take but if true would be surprised as I don't feel he a Newcastle type of player....but we will see.

The basis of either is Milan wanting some cash back into the club, so either is feasible

Perhaps the good start has made him feel we won't struggle, so can get some money in

So what? Does that give him some kind of special insight into the transfer dealings of the club? I'd class myself as a hardcore, diehard fan, but I'd class someone who threw his season ticket at the manager as an idiotic, attention seeking bellend.

It's more than likely he's made this up to make himself sound important and in-the-know.

Who is going to buy a player that has just recovered from a bad injury?

And if we did sell what would we get for him? Not a lot i imagine just look at Kisnorbo

The only team I could see sniffing about would be Newcastle if they are about to lose Stephen Taylor.

:bang: We didn't sell Kisnorbo, he was out of contract. We chose not to renew the contract. Not similar in any way, apart from the fact they are both defenders.

The season we got relegated he was reportedly off to everton..but got injured against sheffield wednesday in the last home game ..which scuppered any transfer..

He could have been implying that Kisnorbo completely lost any sale value he had due to his injury, whereas before it he was perceived to be worth a decent transfer fee, hence the reason why we released him?

and how is that like Tunchev? :102:

When he was fit again you did not see any teams rushing to buy him!

It's not typical for clubs to sign players who have been out of action for an extended period. Usually - by which I mean 'with the exception of Villa when signing overrated wingers' - clubs will wait to see what the player looks like when fit.

It's obvious
Tunchev may be the best defender we have by a mile but if the current players in his position are playing so well they can't be dropped.

What will probably happen is that Brown or Hobbs will get injured, Tunchev will come in and then will be the first choice until he inturn gets injured. That's the way it is

What??? It's a bizarre world you live in
