Ummmm, i've had mixed rumours on this. Both from very reliable sources. One is saying Grayson wants to come here, he's been approached etc, the other is confirming Grayson wants to come but MM isn't all that interested.

Maybe things have changed, and Grayson is the only one willing to work under MM :102:

I understand that all of the above are true - they're just different stages on the one timeline.

I live in Blackpool and it has been stated in the local paper that Grayson is on holiday until the end of next week (ties in with MM deadline)

If that's the case Larry obviously doesn't want the job enough to cancel his holiday, if I was MM I'd not be too impressed if someone I wanted to hire acted in this way but Larry maybe the only manager willing to come for what is on offer so he can take his time.

From the website that knows feck all....

Leicester City have interviewed Paul Ince and Simon Grayson already. Billy Davies will be seen today (Tuesday) but will take some persuading while Mike Newell completes the short list having interviewed well previously. Matt Oakley in talks to join Fost while DJ Campbell wants a return to London. Mandaric still trying to convince Marton Fulop and Lee Hendrie to spend one year on League one before a major push for the Premier League in 2009. Stearman and Mattock will not be sold unless the club receives offers in excess of £5 million.

" Leicester City will appoint newell not Davies, thracian does not know what he's on about, he will sign Dean brill
David bell
kilkenny
Varney
and McLeod (swap for dj)

Moreton"

Firstly, I am a Charlton Fan, but honestly do you really want Izale McLeod? He is injured until December and even then Leicester will have to pay £2 million to get him which they obviously do not have.
Secondly, when you say "Varney" I hope you ont mean Luke Varney, our best forward, worth over £5 million, and Why would he want to go back to League 1?
Thirdly DJ Campbell is hardley Charlton quality.

This one is better quality nonsense than most. Almost sounds plausible in places.

Some great new names associated with us today and those in the know on our favourite site suggest speculation over Ince is pointless:

Mk Dons bid to sign Leicester's DJ Campbell and offer Jude Stirling, Mark Wright

Leicester City will appoint Billy Davies,

he will sign Paul Dickov, brett pitman, Chris Martin and Mark gower,

Steve walsh will join as first team coach and Kelly will join as Davies assistant.

Tilley

Leicester will be appointing Billy Davies as manager and will be signing:

Darren Moore
David Jones
Danny haynes
Owen garvan
Emmanuel Villa

Is this the same guy you all slagged off throughout last season? Please tell me I'm mistaken.

Bluebirds target gang of four strikers

Jun 5 2008 by Terry Phillips, South Wales Echo
CARDIFF CITY boss Dave Jones has drawn up a four-man short-list of new strikers he wants to bring to Ninian Park, headed by Leicester’s 32-year-old target man Steve Howard.

The Echo understands the Bluebirds are ready to push the boat out in wages to land Howard, who has been courted by Jones before.
Also on Jones’ wish-list are rising Wales star Ched Evans, former Ninian favourite Michael Chopra and Blackburn Rovers’ Jason Roberts.
Money to land at least one leading striker could come from the £5million the Bluebirds are netting from the sale of teenage ace Aaron Ramsey.
Jones’ desire to see newcomers up front next season throws further question marks against the futures of Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink and Robbie Fowler, despite the two having been offered reduced terms to remain with the Bluebirds next season.
However, Jones has made Howard his number one priority, having tried to sign the big hit-man before.
Howard scored the goals which took Derby into the Premiership, but was released as then-Rams boss Billy Davies signed ex-Bluebird Rob Earnshaw instead.
Howard then joined Leicester in a £1.5million deal, but could now be looking for a fresh challenge with the Foxes having been relegated to League One.

Only in the second half of the season ;)

Probably would've been fine if we'd had decent wingers.

Certainly wouldn't be sad to see him go though.

He is a good player, with a competent Manager he will get you goals.
