Steve Clark, I personally think he can do the job here, A top coach at Chelsea, worked with some great manager, must have learn't alot from them, when you watch chelsea he is the one that is always telling the players what to do and highly respected, gone through some shit at Chelsea, he could really do great things at Leicester, i think he must have some good contacts in the game as well.

I know. I answered the question and then threw in a bit of a bite. :icon_lol:

Couldn't see anywhere you said you wanted JG, but I'm at work and have to rustle up some amusement for myself. :icon_wink
I thought you was inferring that I didn't want Steve Clarke.

By all means, if you're bored attack me. Most other people do.

:058: Not attacking you, just knew you would have a bit of banter you stuck up git. :icon_lol: :icon_wink
I have a tongue, and I'm not afraid to stick it out at you!!!!

I might even waggle my fingers next to my ears as I'm doing it. That'll learn you.

So seriously, what do you think of Clarke as a potential manager?
I don't know the first thing about the guy, hence my question.

I only know the the managerial achievements he has on record.

I would rather we had an unproven manager than a manager who is proven to be shit. So I would be happy with Steve Clarke.

Owner Milan Mandaric is lining up Chelsea coach Steve Clarke as the new Leicester manager. (Daily Mirror)

Fair enough but it could be a bit of a gamble. :icon_conf Not my first choice.

Posted by Matt on FT. :icon_wink

Milan's just been interviewed on SSN. Key points to report;

20 Applicants - Mostly UK based. These will be looked out this week and pruned down to around 4 candidates.

Reported as the question - Will the manager have a clause in his contract that he must gain promotion at the first attempt - Milan dodged the question and talking around it, basically I think the answer is yes.

Will there be funds available for the new manager? Of course.

A new manager will be announced in around 2 weeks times.

Milan was supposedly interested in another Chelsea coach before, Brendan Rodgers.

Either way, employing a coach in a management position is a mistake we've made before. So not for me, thanks - go and prove you can do the job first.

LEICESTER CITY have turned down a £1million bid from Ipswich for defender Gareth McAuley.

It says we are holding out for more money. I personallty would take the £1m and run. Massively over hyped imo. Looked complete shite without Kisnorbo.

Izale McLeod will leave Charlton Athletic this Summer after a poor season and will rejoin former club MK Dons in League One, although Leicester City are also interested in the forward while League Two Luton Town are also keen.
= v1=

Izale had his chance when MA was in charge.. i thought wed missed a goal machine but he was out of his depth in the Championship
