Either Mike Newell, Paul Lambert, Iain Holloway or even Steve MacClaren will take charge of Leicester City in League One next season. Milan Mandaric will announce the new manager at a press conference two weeks on Friday. He is looking to interview all of the names mentioned with MacClaren being surprisingly interested in taking over at the Walkers Stadium, although Newell is the frontrunner after being interviewed previously. Paul Ince is also in contention.

Been told by a reliable source at a book makers in Leicester that Port Vale boss Lee Sinnot is emerging as a suprise favourite for the managers job.

This is not a rumour as it is fact:
A contract offer was given to and accepted by Paul Ince, the press conference will be held on Friday at midday.

A new contract will be issued to Alan Sheehan, promoting him to captain and a contract will be offered to Elvis Hammond while a bid is placed for Chris O'Grady. Ince has stated that these players will be crucial to the development of a league winning side as he plans to place the emphasis on youth, set pieces and speed.

There must be some strong drugs going around Leicester at the moment!! :030::030:

Makes infinite sense to agree a pay off with Holloway an then reappoint him. Keeps up with Milans plans to spunk away as much cash as possible.

My mates grandad is a cab driver and this mate of mine has said his grandad took Simon Grayson to Blackpool airport. Hes flying down to the midlands to talk to Milan Mandaric about the Leicester joband seemed quite excited about it

Blimey, I think there might be some concrete rumours emerging.

I was just taking a walk along the canal and I stopped to talk to a horse. Randomly I asked the horse who was going to be the next Leicester City Manager. I could tell by his silence that he was hiding something.

I asked him if it was John Gregory, he said "Nay", I asked him if it was Billy Davies, he said "Nay". I asked him if it was Simon Grayson and he nodded in an approving manner.

Now, I'm not usually stupid ennough to believe the words of a horse, but he did seem very convincing.
