But has anyone considered what things have come to when such sites even speculate that one of our better young players might be signed by a sh-t hole like Barnsley. Mandaric needs to take a look at himself and consider how he has allowed such a possibility to be even considered.

I still regard Mandaric's involvement as a positive - my problem is that he allowed Holloway to remain in post and to take us down when there was ample signs that Holloway should be sacked in March.

Who knows who wanted to sign which players?

All I know is that there has been extremely bad judgement - McKay, Allen, Mandaric, have all played some role in the 2007 summer signings. But we will never know where the principal blame rests. All I would say is that after Holloway's ventures in the January window, that it's a good job that he isn't around to throw away more money.

yeah i agree, oakley will have to do alot to win me over, put in 20 something nothing performances and came out of a dyer season with championship clubs being linked to him, who knows he could have played for leicester, derby and forest in the space of a year
