Or could this be yet another convenient smokescreen? Leak the name of a manager who wouldn't inspire anyone greatly, then eventually announce we're keeping Holloway, which is then greeted with "well, could have been worse" rather than a riot.

Slim pickings today:

Coventry City

birchill Leicester

Relegated Premier League teams–
Birmigham, Reading and Derby are all to get rid of at least five players at the end of July. Derby have amde the whole team available for transfer with teams such as: Port Vale, Nottingham Forest, Leicester City and Coventry City already jumping on the bandwagon for players.

You missed David Bell from the Coventry City "in" list.

Birchill? Chris Birchall? The only white player in the Trinidad/Tobago team :icon_lol:

My bad.

Anyway, looks like Birchall is a nailed on cert, since he's been in two days running:

SKY BLUES

Chris Coleman is a very busy man expect too see or linked with
OUT:
Gary Borrowdale – Queens Park Rangers

Chris Birchall – Leicester

Kevin Kyle – Released

Wayne Andrews – Bristol Rovers

Robbie Simpson – LOAN

Stephen Hughes – MLS

And Hume's off, now:

Birmingham City news
Players that are serious targets are:
Micheal Sturrige on loan from Manchester City

Danny Shittu from Watford £1 million
Ben Foster on loan from Man United

I assume they mean Daniel Sturridge? A prime example of the absolute ****ing retards that contribute to that site.

Much loveliness today:

Inside source from LCFC. Leicester scouts are currently looking at Torquay's Chris Robertson as a young centre–back following Torquay's failure to be promoted.
hj.

Nottingham Forest are also chasing highly rated Derby County defender Lewin Nyatanga, Leicester City's Matt Oakley and Iain Hume.

Mate of mine works at the Molineux and I can clarify that these are the following players that Mick McCarthy is looking to bring In:

Christophe Berra (Hearts, £3 million)
Sam Vokes (Bournemouth, £500 k–£1 million)
Tony Capaldi (Cardiff, Straight swap for Eastwood + Bothroyd)
David Jones (Derby, £1 million)
Steve Howard – only if we do not get Sam Vokes (Leicester, £1 million)

Ok, so Norwich may have £11 million to spend but that is not the second highest in the championship. it was well documented that when Marcus evans (in the tourism industry) took over he cleared the clubs debt (37 million) and ADDED £12 million to the clubs transfer funds.

with the club agree to him sponsporing Ipswich next season 9the shirts will read 'Marcus evans' instead of e–on) this transfer fund will be even larger.

so expect to see Nugent (if not then Healy will sign), mcauley from Leicester and thomas sorensen to replace bywater as his loan runs out in the Summer

I’ve had the Steve Howard rumour confirmed by a die hard wolves fan.

The thing is, I can see Howard scoring plenty of goals for Wolves......

I could see him scoring plenty of goals for us with some proper service. If you buy a player it should be with a mind set to play to his strengths e.g putting crosses in to the box.

Of all the bollocks this is the craziest. Ipswich to allow the chairman of their biggest rivals to have his name on the front of the shirt next season. :icon_eek:

Fantastic stuff today. :038: :038: :038: :icon_razz

Queens Park Rangers and Iain Dowie are looking to bring in only a couple of new faces, these include;
Leicester City's Iain Hume and Gareth Mcauley for £1 million and £1.5 million respectively.

However Leicester City's Patrick Kisnorbo will not be going anywhere until January due to his six month lay off due to injury, but he may not move in January, it will all depend on how Leicester are getting on in League 1.

Leicester City FC rumours:

following Leicester relegation to league 1, Ian Holloway will look to freshen up his squad.

Out:
Ian Hume 1 mill
Stearman 1 mill
Mattock 1 mill
oakley 250,000
howard 250,000
Chambers 200,000
mcauley 200,000

Ins:
Steven Gillespie of Cheltenham, relatively unknown but scores almost every game for Cheltenham.
Ben Sahar on loan from Chelsea
the defense will be completley revamped with experience Andy Todd and Gary Breen, and youngters Kelly Youga and Jared Hodgkiss on loan from Charlton and West Bromwich Albion respectively.

Leicester City

I have it on good authority Milan Mandaric is on the verge of agreeing a compensation fee with Pete Winkleman of Mk Dons after successful talks with Paul Ince.

Ince possibly be bringing star midfielder Keith Andrews to the Walkers with him and also Dean Lewington only if the Foxes cannot hold on to Joe Mattock. The rest of the Dons squad will be staying put.

Wait for this to develop.

If this does not come off Billy Davies is second choice

BARNSLEY FC ins

A good source within the club that Matty Fryatt will sign for 450 k from Leicster.

If only that could be true!

It says in the Sunday People today that Larry Grayson will be our new manager and it will be announced in early June just as soon as they have sorted out Holloways severence deal. Apparently Larry is hacked off with the Blackpool board who won't give him any cash for transfers.

Well Hollowman's severance has been sorted so will the next part now come to pass and Larry can walk into the boardroom and tell MM to shut that door

From BBC Gossip this morning...

Leicester chairman Milan Mandaric will hold talks with former Derby boss Billy Davies about becoming the next manager of the Foxes. (Daily Telegraph)

Blackpool boss Simon Grayson is also an option for the Foxes following their relegation to League One. (Mirror)

I'd be happy if we got Davies, can't see it though.

Surprised people don't think Davies would jump at the chance. He's out of work and after the Derby debacle, he's not going to have many clubs banging down his door.
