I think also read that Silva won the Portugese league with Sporting (including Slimani) and it was their first championship in 7 years.

No he didn't.

Ture. It was the cup, not the league.

Third place in the league and a domestic cup, with Sporting Lisbon, can hardly be described as brilliant. There's only three teams in that division really.

Same with Olympiakos. My grandma could manage Olympiakos to the league title, and she's dead.

His only achievement which has impressed me is what he did with Estoril.

you mean you weren't impressed that he took Hull City down?

Not for us. More for Watford actually, or Burnley.

It meant it was impossible for us to be relegated. NP would never have taken Hull down.

That was our own doing, nothing to do with whatever Hull did.

Shakey thinks that Vardy can challenge Kane for the golden boot next season. It'll help if his team doesn't allow Kane to score 4 goals in a match against them.
Ffs we played a spurs team that had **** all to play for and were missing key players let it go !

No, we conceded six goals, that is simply unacceptable. It certainly highlighted how we need to strengthen our defensive options 'but to let it go ' is not an option.

Not really

His post is perfectly reasonable on this occasion

I worry that if CS gets the permanent job, he'd struggle to attract players of the necessary calibre to come to us. I mean living in Leicester isn't the biggest draw, and apart from 12 games no one's really ever heard of Shakey.

Based on that I reckon we'll have a new manager with more stock next season. This is our most important season in forever and it's imperative we make a strong mark on challenging with Everton for 7th.

The complete lack of any meaningful links to another manager suggests that this is a done deal. In Shakespeare, they trust.

Mancini is off to St. Petersburg, Silva went to Watford, Rodgers has signed a new deal at Celtic.

I hope to be proved wrong, but I can't help thinking that not making a big splash for a big name / reputation manager is going to be a very costly mistake.

Could have had Mancini then. Bit daft they haven't announced anything one way or the other. Perhaps in their minds, it's a done deal and has been. No need for an announcement.

I'm a bit disappointed. If we lose Mahrez, Vardy, Kasper and have Craig as boss, I'm genuinely concerned about next season.

Roma manager on his way
