I never said it was wrong, just that they could have tried to do it in a way that gave the guy some dignity.
They did it, so it appears, no differently than if they were getting rid of Martin Allen, Megson or Holloway.

It was the way it was done that many people didn't like but you're talking in hindsight anyway.
Maybe they should have sacked him at the end of last season and then we'd be champions again.

There were a number of people that said it was the wrong decision and we should have stuck with him even if it meant getting relegated.
In that scenario, we wouldn't have had last night.

Just what I was thinking. I have no idea whether Jon Rudkin is good at the job or not. Presumably the people we bought in during the summer transfer window were Walsh's targets.

The bias was more to do with Shakey staying in because we were at that point 1-0 up against Sevilla.
Rudkin doesn't seem to be able to get transfers over the line but not a personal bias!
