I was just wondering on the ticket sale side of things and whether it includes the Conference North play-off winners V Conference South play-off winners at about noon.

I don't know anything about the sale of tickets.

All the Nationwide Conference, Nationwide North and Nationwide South play-off dates, times and venues are here. I can't see any mention of a match between the North and South play-off winners - that doesn't mean there isn't going to be one, but I would like to ask what the purpose of such a match would be.

In previous years the bottom three of the Conference have been relegated and replaced with the Champions of each of North and South and the winner of the game between the winners of the respective North adn South play-off competitions. This year they want to increase the size of the Conference from 22 to 24 clubs - for that reason only 2 clubs will be going down and the Champions and the play-off winners of both North and South will be promoted - two down, four up!

After this season it will be four-up/four-down, with the bottom four being relegated and replaced by the Champions and the play-off winners of each of North and South.

So now we know!

The relegated teams would all go into the North division, and two teams from the south of the Northern division would be moved into the Southern division.

One of them, there are a few further south though, such as Kettering.

Wouldn't necessarily just be done on a North/South basis, they might decide Hinckley fit into the Southern division better than a team like Worcester for example, because Hinckley is within easier reach of the South East, where a lot of the Conference South teams are.

The decision as to which division the relegated club joins is made by the FA's NLS (National League Sytems) committee.
