I don't think that's quite fair. That may have been the final straw but HF often sounded down and his posts suggested he was teetering on the edge of leaving for a long time.

For me that was more about his personality and circumstances and less about any issue with this board which looks trivial to say the least in the big picture.

I think it was more HF than an adopted persona. There were times when he was more upbeat and his posts were quite different. Before he left they were downbeat for a considerable amount of time.
