Please don't take this thread off topic. It is intended purely to take the piss out of those that are taking this transfer too seriously and are letting it affect their lives, losing sleep and are on the verge of suicide because MM hasn't signed Beckham, Henry, Longname or Neverheardof.

Having only scanned some of the recent threads, it seems that many people have, for some reason, pinned all our hopes to a very small bunch of players, that we may or may not have been interested in. They seem to forget that there is plenty of time until the season starts and that there are hundreds of available players, many of whom are better than those we have been linked with. Get a grip!

Apart from the "Get a grip!" quote I agree with most of that. I have to say I find all the threads about somebody signing or not quite amusing, for a while, and when they are not, I just stop reading them.

read today that Obafemi Martins has a £13m release clause as well, so there's another one that will probably be announced soon.....
