Dunno. Some people may actually like to still own a physical copy. Plus even though some trees are saved, if we all started reading electronic books more energy would be needed etc

Why ? If it replaced the laptop the same amount of energy would be used surely?
 
I don't see what the big appeal is. All i see is Apple's take on a netbook/small laptop, but without a CD drive?
 
10 hours of battery time...CDs are rubbish and will be fazed out ASAP....price reflects the market position....it's superb.

The issue with Apple products is that after massive social-changing products like iPhone and iPod, they have set the bar almost too high..
 
That's beyond stupid.


I don't really see the point in the product... potentially good for videos and books, but other than that no reason to get that over an iPhone. And e-books hasn't proven to be a particularly successful market so far - but perhaps this could change that
